Amaremare has chosen the only ISO certified ceramic in the world for floors and tiles that is non-polluting and anti-bacterial: Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™. This product is the result of years of work in and awareness of eco-sustainability.
Amaremare is a new venture by Giorgia Fantin, a seafood entrepreneur and owner of Giorgiamare srl, a company created in 2009, whose main aim is to provide seafood products through Venice’s wholesale market, who has been involved in the seafood sector for years to offer clients the best products on the market. Working in a place that deals in fresh food products requires extremely high standards of hygiene: this is why Amaremare has chosen floor and wall tiles with unique features like Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™.
The business has two adjacent areas in direct contact: the fish shop where clients can see and purchase fish caught that day and an area for take away food preparation, with a kitchen and a seafood work top. These, together with the floor of the business, cover a total of around 400 m2 and have been covered in60x60cm White Purity Active tiles by FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti. The Active treatment on the ceramic surfaces in these areas allows an inert material like porcelain to become ‘active’ and to produce a 99% effective germicide – added safety and a valid contribution to ensure that the already strict hygiene regulations of the business are respected.
If everyone followed Amaremare’s example the sea would also be cleaner: thanks to Active materials only water is used for cleaning and the business helps by not adding toxic, polluting substances like cleaning products or chemical detergents to the environment, also avoiding superfluous maintenance costs. Amaremare has chosen Active for a cleaner sea and healthier fish.
